Melon salad recipe
Preparation

Melon Preparation:
Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds.
Peel the melon and cut into medium-sized cubes.


Salad Assembly:
On a large plate or in a salad bowl, place the arugula as a base.
Distribute the melon cubes over the arugula.
Place the serrano ham slices around the salad or twist the slices and place them on top of the melon.
Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and walnuts or toasted almonds over the salad.

Dressing:
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving.

Presentation:
Serve the salad immediately to enjoy all the fresh flavors and crunchy texture of the melon and walnuts.

Ingredients
  • 1 melon piel de sapo, ripe but firm
  • 200 g thinly sliced prosciutto ham
  • 100 g fresh arugula
  • 100 g crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup roasted walnuts or almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Tips:


For an extra touch of freshness, you can add some fresh mint leaves to the salad.
If you prefer a sweeter option, replace the balsamic vinegar with honey.
This melon and prosciutto salad is perfect for hot summer days. It is light, refreshing and full of flavor, combining the sweetness of the melon with the saltiness of the ham and feta cheese.
